10 questions to ask at your consultation
Bring these to every consultation. A clinic that answers all ten in writing is giving you a clear quote.
- Does this price include the implant and crown? Ask for both parts to be listed in the written quote, including any abutment charge.
- Is the consultation included? Ask what the consultation costs and whether any deposit is refundable.
- What will scans and X-rays cost? Ask which scans are in the quote and whether further imaging could cost extra.
- Could I need a bone graft? Ask whether your plan needs one and request an itemised cost if it does.
- Will I have a temporary tooth or bridge? Ask what is planned between appointments and whether it is included.
- Who will place the implant? Ask for the treating dentist’s name and discuss their experience with your proposed treatment.
- What material is the final crown or bridge? Ask for the material and number of teeth to be written into the plan.
- What does the warranty cover? Ask for the written terms, duration, exclusions and required maintenance visits.
- Are follow-up visits included? Ask how many reviews are included and what ongoing care will cost.
- When are payments due? Ask for the payment schedule, any finance costs and what happens if the treatment plan changes.

How we sort. “Most published information” counts how many of the six checks a clinic meets. “Most stated inclusions” for full arches counts the items stated as included. Ties go A–Z.
What “not stated” means. The clinic’s own page doesn’t say. It doesn’t mean the clinic doesn’t provide it. This guide compares published information, not treatment quality.
Starting prices, not quotes. Package details differ. Confirm suitability, the full cost and any warranty conditions with the clinic.
