Implant costs in Ireland, 2026

We checked the price pages of 20 dental clinics in Dublin, Wicklow, Offaly, Cork, Galway and Limerick on 5 October 2026. Here's what clinics publish as starting prices for one implant and crown, what's often charged on top, and how to work out an estimated cost after tax relief.

The short answer

  • Middle published starting price: €2,600 (median of 15 clinics that publish a price for both)
  • Lowest published: €950. Highest: €3,200.
  • Most clinics charge the scan and any bone graft separately. Budget €150–€300 for a 3D scan and €250–€2,000 if you need a graft.
  • Qualifying dental expenses may get 20% tax relief. Your dentist completes a Med 2 form; see revenue.ie.

Small numbers of clinics outside Dublin, so treat county figures as a rough guide. Clinics with branches in more than one county count in each. Five more clinics aren’t in these figures: two publish a price for the implant only and three don’t say what their price covers.

Why prices vary so much

  1. What “from” covers. 6 clinics publish one price for the implant and crown together. 9 list the implant and the crown separately, so the headline number can be half the real cost.
  2. The abutment. The connector between implant and crown is only mentioned by 3 of 20 clinics.
  3. The scan. 14 clinics mention imaging; most charge for it separately (usually €150–€250, one clinic €50 during consultation).
  4. Bone grafting. Needed in some cases. Published prices run from €250 to €2,000.

Full arch implants

Published starting prices for one arch (All-on-4 or similar) range from €6,500 to €15,000 across 7 clinics (two don't say whether the price is per arch). What's included varies even more than for single implants: only 1 clinics say the price includes sedation, and only 1 lists bone grafting, temporary teeth, final teeth and reviews all as included.

How we got these numbers

Every figure comes from each clinic's own price page, checked on 5 October 2026. Where a clinic lists the implant and crown separately we add the two published starting prices; this is an estimate, not a confirmed package. We use the middle value (median) rather than an average so one very high or low price doesn't skew it.
